What is CPE
Load Simulator?
A CPE Load Simulator
models the AC and DC characteristics of a telephone. It is used to simulate
a second telephone on the line during testing.
When is the CPE Load
Simulator Required?
The CPE simulator is
a stand-alone product to be used by test engineers, type approval facilities
and laboratories when testing to ANSI/TIA-470-C. The standard has limits for Send and
Receive Distortion, and specifies a maximum permitted change in loudness
ratings when the CPE simulator is connected to the line.
Advantages
of the Microtronix CPE Load Simulator
The Microtronix CPE Load
Simulator meets and exceeds the requirements of ANSI/TIA-470.110-C. The
Simulator’s performance is stable and repeatable over it’s range of
operating conditions.
What is needed to use the CPE Load
Simulator?
The CPE Load Simulator can be
connected across the Tip and Ring output of any telephone test equipment.
Binding posts are provided for connections.
